Large porcelain bowl enameled in polychrome enamel on a light blue ground with stylized foliage, foliage and lotus flowers and four large medallions, two in the shape of pomegranates and two in the shape of ruyi heads. Battle scenes depicting horsemen and foot soldiers bearing arms, shields and banners, as well as a palace scene featuring a general. Geometrically-decorated friezes surround the foot and neck, two of which are interspersed with cartouches decorated with lotus flowers and foliage, and with scholars seated with their assistants in gardens.
