Small object consisting of several rock crystal and silver-plated metal parts mounted around a central stem. It is a representation of a symbolic object belonging to the eight tributes offered to Buddha (the parasol, the conch shell, the wheel, the canopy of the throne, the lotus, the sacred vase, the fish and the endless knot). Here, the sacred vase is mounted on a column with a chiselled base. Knotted ribbons surround the neck of the vase.
