Sandstone, 2024
Print on silk
68 x 68 cm
Edition of 150

"Transparency, alchemy, sedimentation, revelation... these are the words I had in mind when researching with Franklin Azzi and his team to choose the motif for our scarf. Making this silk is both an obvious choice and a joy: I love the idea of it being worn, unfurled, suspended. Silk is first and foremost a link with silkscreening, which transfers the image through its sieve. It's the link with sedimentation through the geography that emerges in the hollow: following the random paths formed by deposits and substrates, capturing them through photography, transforming them through painting and the alchemy of the studio. It's also the motif of the palette in painting, a landscape in constant mutation, like the ones I walk."
