Superb album of 12 large original drypoint etchings by Salvador DALI (1904-1989), enhanced in color and signed in the artist's hand. At the head of the album is a leaflet with portraits of Dali and Leonardo da Vinci reproduced in gray. Edition of 510 copies on Arches vellum. A precious chapel copy in artist's proof, justified EA on each plate, from the collection of Pierre Jean Mathan, who composed and printed the text on his presses in Boulogne-sur-Seine. Complete copies of this work have become extremely rare. A very well preserved copy, despite light foxing on the text leaves and margins.
