Very fine edition illustrated with 12 large original engravings (burin and aquatint) by Pierre-Yves TRÉMOIS (1921-2020), including one on the cover and 11 full-page engravings. Limited edition of only 65 copies on Auvergne du Moulin Richard de Bas, signed by the author, the illustrator and the president of the Bibliophiles de l'Union française in the colophon. This is one of XV copies reserved for contributors, specially printed for the typographer Pierre Bouchet, who printed the text of the book. It is enhanced by one of the 8 numbered but unsigned suites of illustrations on japon. The copy also includes a very fine, large original drawing by Trémois on japon, depicting a faun embracing a woman, bearing the title L'Après-midi d'un Faune and this dedication: "à Pierre Bouchet avec toute mon amitié // Trémois."
