Neo-Gothic illumination, painted in full on parchment
France, late 19th or early 20th century

frame dimensions: 220 x 182 mm.

This miniature is painted in the style of late 14th-century miniatures (a note on the back of the frame reads "La Visitation. Heures de Troyes, fin XIVe siècle") or rather in the taste of miniatures from the first quarter of the 15th century.
