A proof copy, on Arches vellum paper, specially printed for the engraver and typographer Pierre Mathan, including this handwritten dedication in the margin: “For Pierre Mathan // with warm regards // JJJ Rigal. ” This copy is accompanied by two greeting cards, each illustrated with an original signed engraving by Rigal, as well as two unsigned original engravings on Japanese paper (135 x 92 mm), bearing the following printed inscription on the reverse: “Nicole Rigal Saint-Médard May 19, 1962.” Scattered foxing.
